Senior Solutions Architect Job Summary : The Senior Solution Architect position requires a motivated, enthusiastic, and pro-active hands on leader with - can-do- attitude. As a member of the IT Applications Team, this role will lead a team of engineers in designing and implementing complex web-based software and will be able to troubleshoot a complex environment consisting of web, application and database servers.Duties and responsibilities :- Create a positive team member experience.- Oversees a team of developers and ensures strict standards are followed.- Provides leadership, direction and mentorship to members of the team.- Works to ensure that all team members have a clear direction and the appropriate work load.- Works as an advocate for team needs such as software, equipment, and training.- Assists with mentoring and training of all team members.- Maintains strong focus on customer service to all internal clients.- Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.- Helps define and enforce processes and procedures in the Applications Development area.- Assists in the creation of system architecture and design in strict compliance with industry best practices.- Creates and implements Unit Test Plans and unit test cases.- Is involved in Peer Code review process.- Develops and maintains software applications according to specifications.- Maintains source code control system and application software versioning.- Identifies emerging technologies that will help better leverage resources.- Participates in cross-training activities as required.- Works with external vendors when necessary.- Adheres to Firm processes for change and configuration management, contributing to ongoing maintenance of audits and other security/compliance initiatives.- Performs other duties as assigned.Education and Experience : - Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience required and ten or more years related applications development experience is preferred.Required Skills:- 10+ years- experience using .Net, C#, SQL, OOPS, ASP.NET MVC, Web API.- 3+ years- experience in a Solution Architect role- 5+ years- experience leading a team of 4 or more engineers- Recent experience using CSS, HTML5, MVC, javascript, jQuery, JSON, React AngularJS and either BootStrap or Foundation- Thorough knowledge of OWASP concepts, Encryption and SSO- Ability to administer and tune IIS and setup a website from start to finish.Preferred Skills :- Microsoft SharePoint- Microsoft CRM- Microsoft Power BI- PNMsoft Sequence.Certificates and Licenses :- Microsoft- Development C# and .NET certifications are desirable.Supervisory Responsibilities :- This position manages a team of application developers spread across international boundaries.Shift Timings :- 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST,
