We are currently seeking a System and Application Administrator candidate for our Hyderabad, India facility within our Oracle Cloud Operations (Taleo Enterprise) group.The ApplicationSystem Administrator is known for his good technical knowledge, his keen understanding of information technologies, his strong motivation, his sense of organization and his capacity to execute with quality.What Youll DoService Ownership You will be part of the Taleo Enterprise Cloud Service Operations team. The mission is to provide a 99.99% uptime service for the Taleo Enterprise applications.Some of the tasks you will be performing:

• Use Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) to perform various types of maintenance in the production environments.
• Address and resolve various technical problems related to Oracle products minor and major releases using SOPs and internal tools.
• Manage software updates and configurations for web, application, integration, search, reporting and other related servers.
• Assist the Oracle Customer Support Team, RnD and other departments in the resolution of customer requests.
• Participate to the creation of automated tasks and tools, improvement of process, write various documents and SOPs, with the ultimate goal to improve efficiency and quality of the services delivered to our customers.
• Oversee the monitoring and alerting systems and procedures to assist Service centers agents to detect or prevent issues and ensure servers health and high availability.
• Analyse logs, graphs, transactions to identify possible issues or performance degradation and propose solutions.
• Work on non-routine and very complex work, utilizing advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
• Support the Taleo Oracle Cloud Applications as a senior resource.

What You Need to Have

• Bachelor degree in computer science or related discipline or 7 years of experience in Cloud based application administration.

• Experience with deployment and configuration of JAVA applications.
• Good knowledge of the different aspects of DevSecOps is a must (memory space, deployment, integration, etc.)
• Hardware and Software Load Balancing, basic knowledge of firewall and networking architecture
• Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Business Intelligence, Apache Tomcat, Apache WebServer;
• Experience with various distributions of Linux OS (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle).
• ZFS Appliance, Puppet, SQL Developer, SQL Plus, Virtualization and Container based technologies a plus.
• Experience with some programming and scripting languages like; Python, Ruby, Chef, Bash, Perl, PHP is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of the interaction between Oracle databases and WebApp solution components

• Detailed oriented and meticulous, ability to follow instructions and best practices.
• Good communicator, can clearly express his ideas in a written or spoken manner (must be fluent in English).
• Ability to interact with others and work efficiently within a geographically distributed teams.
• Capacity to work under pressure and to be on-call on a rotation basis to support 24/7 operations.
• Must be available to work from Tuesday to Saturday 0:00 AM to 8:00 AM Hyderabad time. The selected candidate might be eligible to a night shift premium $.
