Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with IT functions, sourcing and finance to ensure that adequate SW asset reporting is in place to support their needs, operationally handle SW throughout the entire asset life cycle Develop and implement governance and procedures for tracking relevant asset information throughout the asset lifecycle, Plan, monitor and record relevant SW information of assets to ensure cost efficient deployment/usage and compliance with vendor contracts Ensure availability of key asset information to support IT strategy, architecture, internal charging, funding and sourcing decisions, Keep Software asset records up to date (maintain all relevant attributes) for SW assets in scope Drive value out of existing and future contracts by ensuring cost efficient deployment and usage of SW assets, Support/advise IT functions regarding ad hoc contractual questions. Fully understand reporting obligations towards Supports the delivery of continuous improvements to job-related IT Software Asset Management processes and IT services. Participates in IT function meetings to ensure validity of the reporting metrics, notification threshold and overall solution. Assumes responsibility for consolidating data from various sources. Completeness and correctness of assets Inventories (check for relevant attributes)Software Asset availability, SW asset compliance fficienttimal cost, LA alignment of SW asset vendors
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in any discipline. ITIL Foundation certified (Expert desired) Fluency in written and spoken English Overall 10+ years of IT experience. At least 5 year relevant experience in License/Software Asset management Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industries
