Responsible for Designing and developing Cobol,Db2,VSAM and CICS Web services to provide real time life insurance. Perform role of subject matter expert in Insurance system. Analyze Coding, Business, and other data processing Problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues. Perform system management and integration functions. Improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. Plan, implement, upgrade and monitor enhancements for the business upgradation. Automating complex business task which involves in tuning Mainframe application for real time data processing and availability. Create, modify, and test the code that allows computer applications to run. Work from specific drawn up by applications or other individuals. Develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. Check for production jobs and monitor night batch cycles. Prevent abends proactively to keep business away from interruptions. To maintain System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and production roll outs for project requests. Perform system maintenance and performance tuning to enhance application output to fulfil Clients need. Design new application environment for development, SIT and UAT for project request Fulfil Business requirements by updating the database and tables if necessary. Enhance existing coding to prevent time complexity and increase cost effectiveness.
