Job Description

As a member of our Software Engineering Group, we look for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.   • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • A delivery focused approach to work and the ability to work without direction
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals

  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile software development methodology and practices with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation
  • Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis/Design methodologies, Design patterns
  • Strong experience in building resilient applications on Java/J2EE, Spring and MVC
  • Proficient in micro service architecture
  • Experience with messaging and integration frameworks like JMS, MQ, Kafka
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, cloud foundry, AWS
  • Exposure to UI Development using Node JS, Angular/React JS, Bootstrap, HTML5 and experience with integrating middleware technologies/channels.
  • Proficiency in relational databases likes Oracle/SQL Server.
  • Hands on with development and test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline, Maven, GIT, JIRA, sonar etc.)
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
  • Strong technical development experience on effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices on configuration management and code refactoring.
