Job Description

Software EngineerPosition title Software EngineerYears of Experience - 6 to 9 yearsLocation HyderabadDepartment - Global Markets GroupReporting to - Associate DirectorShift Timings - GeneralDepartment overviewThe Reporting Services team is responsible for delivering a combination of custom offerings (e.g. templates for automating data analysis and presentations) as well as application features for internal customers (e.g. management reporting in the companys two CRM solutions), across several different application environments.Position summaryYou will work closely with the development teams of several applications, including the team delivering our next-gen reporting solution as well as delivering data services and front-end UI features necessary for the Reporting Services teams deliverables.What Youll Do

  • Delivering changes to data analytics services
  • Creating reusable elements for a UI framework
  • Occasional changes to customer-facing applications with which the reporting stack is integrated
  • Take on projects such as implementing CI/CD process
  • Occasional work with SSRS reports (e.g. POC showing how to implement a feature you built)
  • Working with and learning from other globally-distributed teams.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
  • Experience with C#, Angular, Javascript
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, using version management tools (e.g. git), and CI/CD processes (e.g. using TeamCity/GitLab/TFS Release Management)
  • Experience writing queries in SQL or another relational database
  • Experience collaborating in a large enterprise setting
  • Experience with Microsofts SQL Server Reporting Services and the RDL file format; experience with a BI tool
  • Experience with financial markets preferred
