Job Description

Join our team of super smart engineers working in a fun, fast-paced, and highly technical environment where your dreams can become reality. As a Software Engineer-I, you will be responsible for the design and development of features and components in the application/protocol areas as well as the automation necessary to test and deploy new features. You ll work with architects, leads, Product Management, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to implement solutions. Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform testing and validation of new and existing features. This includes creation of test strategy and test plans based on feature specs requirements.
  • Design, Implement, enhance and maintain automated tests.
  • Execute and monitor the progress of automation runs and investigate test failures.
  • Work with the product development engineers to help isolating defects, improve engineering documentation and enhance product quality.
  • Performs analysis to define, edit and manage test methodologies tools, utilities, system structures, environments and provide technical input into project scope and estimating activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and technical leads
  • Simulate network traffic using various tools servers. Design new tools as required.
Mandatory Skills:
  • 2+ years test automation experience in Python/Go Lang or any other scripting languages.
  • Good knowledge of docker containers, Kubernetes
  • Strong analytic / trouble-shooting skills.
  • Good software designing skills, with object-oriented concepts.
  • Able to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications.
Good to Have skills:
  • Product experience in networking domain (TCP/IP, Routing, switching, and Linux networking stack).
  • REST based webservices development and microservices
  • Automation systems like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  • Agile based software development methodologies like SCRUM
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Engineering in CSE/ECE/IT/EEE/Computers or ME/MTech in CSE/ECE/IT/EEE/Computers.
  • Excellent organizational agility and interpersonal skills throughout the organization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours for better collaboration with International teams.
