Job Description

  • This position will be for implementing initiatives involving application modernization & supporting POCs on different technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others are absolutely critical to this role.
  • Strong communication skills with an open attitude towards sharing ideas and knowledge.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through.
  • Engage in the planning, architecture, design, and development of solutions that satisfy business requirements
  • Ability to work proficiently and effectively in an Agile / Scrum feature team environment
  • Drive execution capabilities and efficiencies across the organization
  • Interact with senior leadership in India and US to develop strategy for the application platform
  • Ensure that the team and associated applications adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security guidelines keep abreast with the latest developments in third party and custom development technologies
  • Develop people on technical, domain and leadership capabilities with active coaching.
  • Adopt to new technologies and methodologies and drive solutions
  • Utilize excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Hand on experience on Cloud Native transformation is a plus
  • Prior experience in leading transformation programs is a plus
  • Multinational captive site or overseas experience
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s or graduate degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of professional working experience
  • Hands on experience on leading teams towards modernization
  • Java, Hibernate, J2EE, Springboot, MonetaBoot, Microservices and other java based frameworks application development
  • Experience in JAVA + SPARK platforms is desired
  • Must have at least 2+ years of experience in the design and delivery of Cloud native apps Kubernettes, AWS and SPARK preferred
  • Experience interfacing with IBM MQ, Kafka
  • Experience in UNIX and/or AIX operating environment is required
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN)
