Job Description

DescriptionDescriptionLead Software Engineering team(s) in building high throughput & critical solutions. Create future product roadmap for tools and software owned by the team in partnership with stakeholders. Drive adoption of software and services, incorporating changing requirements & support of new emerging technologies Drive the team to develop operationally efficient and sustainable solutions Manage resources/budget and partner with global functional and business teams Define standards, methodologies , best practices and ensure their compliance across the team Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Should have strong ability to manage stakeholder communication & risk management & communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams Lead and mentor people and plan their career growth and focus on creating a cohesive team environment Thrives in a dynamic environment, maintaining composure and a positive attitude., Key QualificationsKey Qualifications

  • Experience in leading, hiring, developing and building software engineering team and able to provide them technical directions on a day to day basis
  • Experience in building scalable micro-services based end to end solution (Java/Scala) s on cloud preferably AWS
  • Experience creating product roadmaps and manage lifecycle of their products end to end
  • Experience architecting software solutions & managing cross dependencies across organisation
  • In-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Working knowledge of message queues like Kafka or Rabbit
  • Experience working on virtualisation techniques Kubernetes, Docker
  • Good understanding of working with databases like Oracle/Teradata & NoSQL databases like Cassandra, Redis.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the full software development lifecycle
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking
  • Solid ability to evaluate and apply new technologies in a short time
  • Experience working in Privacy & Compliance solutions will be a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
