To support the Critical Incident Centre, the Process, Automation and Data team builds tools to automate the processes that support service restoration. You will be part of a small Agile team building user-centric process automations on the Salesforce Service CLoud platform. You are passionate about delivering the best user experience possible through creative design and innovative approaches based on user needs. This role requires interfacing directly with business stakeholders and technical resources to optimize and extend the internal systems and tools. You will have experience within the Salesforce development environment and some exposure to full-stack applications and developing custom Salesforce applications and integrations.Role Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineers
  • Work with a small agile team to build systems to automate Incident Command, front-end and back-end, delivering user-friendly intuitive solutions in line with UX best practices and modern website design
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps, with prototypes to clearly illustrate look & feel
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets, build page navigation buttons and search fields
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment
  • clicks not code philosophy to implement Salesforce solutions, to support process automation and drive innovation
  • Provide accurate estimates of development efforts for forecasting and schedule adherence.
  • Write clear high-quality system documentation.
Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, design or similar engineering field
  • 7-8 years post graduate industry experience, 3-4 years development and at least 2 years in UI/UX design/development
  • Development experience in a Salesforce environment - Salesforce Certified - (e.g. Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Experience - Aura & Lightning Web Components (LWC) , Flows , Process Builders, Salesforce APIs, Force.com, custom objects and fields, views, applications, validation rules, workflows, scripting, web services, etc) - a distinct advantage
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UI design tools, wireframe tools, web front end development, SLDS
  • Sound knowledge of web development, data structures, distributed systems, caching, databases, concurrency
  • Consistent track record of delivering on commitments portfolio of design projects
  • Building proof of concept and production-ready solutions
  • Working in an Agile collaborative team

  • Can learn and apply new concepts, principles, and solutions and quickly deliver high-quality solutions
  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
