Job Description

    10+ years of infrastructure and applications systems engineering experience in enterprise-scale Internet services. Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting systems using logging, distributed tracing, stack traces, and debuggers.Developing strategic directions, workforce allocations, organizational structures, and tactical execution plans.6+ years of experience configuring and managing any of the Public Clouds using CLI/SDKs and automation.Ability to facilitate connections across organizational boundaries, to support functional and company goals.8+ years of experience in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, and Go.Experience managing and building a geographically distributed team of leaders and engineers.Working knowledge of Kubernetes and database concepts.A systematic problem solver with a strong sense of ownership; able to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and successfully handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Demonstrable experience with basic large-scale Internet service architectures (DNS, HTTP, Load Balancing, .)Strong communication skills with the ability to represent complex business or technical concepts internally and externally.Demonstrable experience with monitoring and observability of best practices, implementations, and administration.Contribute to the overall growth of Salesforces SRE organization, identifying trends while promoting solutions and ensuring engagement with numerous software development leadership teams to deliver exceptional reliability to customers.Preferred Requirements:CI/CD automation experience, including understanding key open-source technologies like Jenkins, Spinnaker, and Docker.Experience with JVM optimization and Java server technologies like Tomcat or Jetty.Experience defining immutable infrastructure via Terraform/CloudFormation.Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.PostgreSQL experience.Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.),
