With this mission, we are setting up a Data as a Service team at Novartis Hyderabad, which would work with the Chief Digital Office, Novartis Business units and industry leading technology partners, to drive the execution of Novartis data strategy , turning its rich data resources into real strategic assets to drive actionable insights across the organization. This ambition is one of key pillars in the broader digital transformation happening at Novartis to be a medicines and data science company.Your Responsibilities:Your responsibilities include but not are limited to: Bring deep domain understanding in Pharma Industry. Provide leadership to different AGILE teams in DaaS and collaborate closely with Scrum Masters and Product teams Provide technical leadership in data management to the team and be able to roll up sleeves to perform hands on technical work as needed. Define and shape specific data/ analytics use cases by working closely with stakeholders in Novartis business domains. Build trusted partnership with the stakeholders. Manage quality and consistency of NBS CONEXTS data services delivery to all stakeholders Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements and continuous improvement of quality relevant processes within area of responsibility Provide leadership and decision making support by establishing appropriate project governance & communications. Managing risks, issues and change management. Ensures projects comply with best practice and internal process framework and continually strive for improvement. Captures lessons learnt throughout the project to benefit other projects and programs in the future. Ensure project operational metrics are rightly captured, review and report the same to the organization leaders. EEO Statement Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Minimum requirements What You ll bring to the role: Bachelors/Masters/ PhD in Computer sciences/ IT / any other engineering or quantitative sciences with 10+ years of experience in global company as Data Manager / Engineering Manager Understanding of data modeling (conceptual, logical and physical), Good exposure in semantic modelling and graph databases. Experience on data wrangling including Ingestion, Unification, Anonymization, Search, Master & Meta Data Management and Governance Experience in working with ETL process and programming skill for data preparation and analysis. Good understanding of big data ecosystems, knowledge of AWS, Azure stack Experience with multiple project delivery methodologies (Agile, Scaled Agile Framework, Waterfall, and ICE). PMP/PRINCE2/ SAFe certification desired Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with senior global executives.
