Job Description

    DescriptionDescriptionYour primary responsibility will be to design, deploy, and manage computing servers and virtual operating environments running critical services such as virtual network routers and firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP. The role will involve evaluating business requirements, implementing solutions, automating of workflows, maintaining servers, tuning performance, implementing server monitoring, and performing other traditional UNIX server sysadmin tasks such as security, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and SSL cert management. In this role, you will: - Deploy and maintain infrastructure for host critical applications - Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency - Participate in day on-call - Engineer solutions to improve security, availability and efficiency of infrastructure resources., Key QualificationsKey Qualifications
    • At least 10+ years hands-on experience as a systems and storage engineer
    • Detailed knowledge of Linux (OEL, RHEL, CentOS) utilities and programs
    • Expertise version control systems (Git, SVN), automated build and testing (Jenkins, Vagrant)
    • Expert of Storage platforms (NetApp, Isilon, Object Storage etc.)
    • Experience with configuration management (e.g. Puppet, Ansible) is required
    • Expert with enterprise-grade hardware platforms - x86-based
    • Expert in virtualization technologies (VMWARE, KVM, containers)
    • Experience automating workflows with Python, Ruby, go
    • Expert of IPv6, DNS and DHCP
    • Knowledge of hardware and tuning performance to meet specific performance goals is a plus.
    • Expert knowledge in operating system, networking stack, TCP/IP, Linux bridges and network interface drivers is highly desired
    • Understanding Systems/App security and encryption
    • Strong debugging and problem solving skills a must.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
