DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES ARE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Translate business requirements into engineering specifications and system designConduct technological feasibility research and develop proof- of- concepts to validate and compare proposed design alternativesImplement components of new HPC- based analytical framework, algorithms, and tooling (using C , C#, SQL, and OpenMP/ MPI/ CUDA/ OpenCL) Proactively contribute to software performance optimizations and continuous improvements to code quality, robustness, and development processesProvide work estimates and contribute to project planning and development of schedules KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 5 years experience developing Windows- based commercial software products & services based on N- tiered high performance distributed and parallel computing architectures.Ability to architect, design and implement high performance analytical software components using C , C#, SQL, OpenMP/ MPI/ CUDA/ OpenCL and best practices.Be proficient in one of the parallel computing technologies (TPL, MPI, TBB, OpenMP, CUDA) Specifically: Creativity, strong problem solving and analytical reasoning skillsMust have the following technical expertise: Strong knowledge of design patternsStrong knowledge of algorithms. Ability to convert the algorithm into the code.Strong knowledge of C or C#Strong knowledge of core functionality in .Net Framework platformExperience with Parallel Computing development on Windows platform as well as on Linux.SQL Servertrade, programming with T- SQL and Microsoft data access technologiesKnowledge of code analysis and performance- tuning toolsExperience with the following is a plus: Background in math, high- performance computational programming, optimizations, and distributed cluster/ grid- based parallel computingExperience to develop the high performance distributed application using C/ C & OpenMP/ MPIGPGPU programming and performance tuningExperience to build an unit test frameworksKnowledge of Big Data principalsExperience with Hadoop, Map/ Reduce and SQL/ Non- SQL databases.Experience with R. Convert algorithms written in R into the C / OpenMP code,
