Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Day-to-day administration of database security tools and management of DB services. Operate all IT services, systems and applications and to monitor events that occur in the enterprise IT environment. Ensure that Configuration Items (any component that needs to be handled in order to deliver an IT Service) are identified, accounted, reported, verified and audited. Deliver IT services to the business, Ensure consistency to quality standards as defined by the IT Organization Ensure appropriate response to audit / ISRM assessment findings and recommendations Define an end-to-end provisioning process facilitating automation wherever possible Perform patch management and image management activities, Ensure standard build/image Ensure accurate provisioning and metering of services, Provide early feedback to development team on release issues Ensure that an up-to-date asset inventory for all technology assets is maintained and only authorized components are used Accountable to ensure consistency with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Technical Operations service scope Coordinate all configuration management database changes which directly or indirectly impact production services Ensure addition, modification or removal of any IT asset in a standard and controlled manner Ensure that CIs are identified and accounted and reported, Take accountability to ensured there is consistency within the compliance and security procedures within Service Operations scope Maintaining access for smooth running of Guardium environments, Responding to Guardium incidents, Monitoring performance of Guardium environments, Reviewing configurations of Guardium environments, Work with Guardium support to resolve incidents, Guardium backup and restore strategy, Administration/Upgrade/Patch Management of Guardium tool and its components
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in a scientific subject area, computer science, engineering or mathematics Proficiency in written and spoken English At least 3 year experience in administration of IBM Security Guardium GBDI tools At least 2 year of experience in Oracle/SQL database basic administration Certification in Oracle or SQL database administration, Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industries Installing, configuring, patching, upgrading of components in IBM Security Guardium GDBI Experience in automating the process of installation, deployment and patching of agents Access management of IBM Security Guardium, GBDI and its components Solving problems resolving Guardium, GBDI and its components performance issues Design and rollout of Guardium configurations
