This role is responsible for the onboarding, new-skills training, and ongoing performance of associates in their region. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and facilitation skills, experience leveraging adult learning theory and techniques to help make training stick, and a track record of improving individual and team performance by identifying and addressing knowledge gaps.Training & Quality Specialists are professionals in using quantitative and qualitative data to identify training and coaching needs. They are also leaders in driving performance, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives and programs outside the classroom.Last, but not least, Training & Quality Specialist are experts in articulating both Amazon and Amazon Go s mission and vision. They ensure people understand the importance of their role and how it supports the success of Amazon and Amazon Go., 4+ years delivering and evaluating the outcome of instructor-led curricula in a corporate environment 3+ years experience providing quality analysis and successful quality/performance coaching support Experience analyzing and presenting essential training and performance metrics using tools like Microsoft Excel Experience working with industry standard Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track and measuring training results and learning effectiveness Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members in a global environment Ability to travel internationally to work with program stakeholders and assist with operations (approximately 5 10% travel) An undergraduate degree in HR Management, Communications, Education, Curriculum Development or other relevant fieldThe candidate should be willing and able to work flexible schedules and shifts (including night shifts) 5+ years of experience delivering and measuring the outcome of instructor-led training in a corporate environment Experience designing effective, scalable, and repeatable training programs using industry-standard methods, such as the ADDIE model and Kirpatrick s Levels of Evaluation Experience designing effective and scalable performance maintenance and improvement programs for in support environments (e.g. call center) Basic audio/video production/editing experience using one or more eLearning tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar Basic HTML knowledge Experience leading process improvement initiatives to drive reduction in learning curve via peripheral improvements (e.g. improvements to associate tools or policies) Experience analyzing and presenting detailed or advanced metrics using tools like Tableau, data warehouses, SQL, XML or similar
