Your role brings that principle to life.TTEC , a 50 , 000 employee , global customer experience pioneer , is opening a new information technology and data science center of excellence in Hyderabad where youll have the opportunity to get in on the groundfloor of this expansion.In this role , the Data Scientist will support the development of consulting products as well as work on consulting engagements. This person will leverage a range of data science techniques as well as support the introduction and advancement of decision science throughout our client engagements in his or her role as a subject matter expert. This person will design , manage and deliver client analyses and have extensive experience in coding in SAS or Open Source Statistical Programming software like R and Python.The successful candidate will be able to evaluate large amounts of consumer data and cull out key insights to support data - driven marketing , voice - of - the - customer (VoC) and customer experience (CX) programs.What youll be doingUtilize statistical methods including mix modeling , predictive response modeling , sales response modeling , experimental design , CART / CHAID , latent class segmentations , cross - sectional and time series analysis , discrete choice modeling , data mining and optimization techniques to meet client business needsDevelop and implement statistical tools to build predictive models helping support clients in customer marketing and demand generation initiativesCollaborate with internal consulting teams to set analytic objectives , approach and work plansProvide programming and analytic support to internal consulting or related teams , writing macros and automating statistical procedures utilizing SAS and Microsoft OfficePerform unstructured analysis to carry out sentiment classification , topic and theme detection to uncover actionable customer insightsUtilize speech tools to identify , create and track category indexes on large volumes of speech dataPerform analytics utilizing SAS , or R as well as extract data using SQL or PythonBuild dashboards in Tableau , Power BI and other visualization software / packagesTranslate analytical model results to business insights for the clientDevelop and test machine learning algorithms applied to targeting , recommendations , behavioral analytics , etc. on Big DataWork closely to productize the algorithms to address real world dataWhat youll need to be successfulPosition requires a Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Applied Statistics , Mathematics , or Economics1+ year experience providing programming and analytic support to internal consulting or related teams , writing macros and automating statistical procedures utilizing SAS and Microsoft OfficeExperience performing analytics utilizing SAS , R or PythonExperience working on predictive algorithms on Big DataHands - on experience building systems with machine learning techniques , such as logistic regression , Na ve Bayes , SVM , decision trees , neural networks , and random forestsExperience using open source machine learning toolsets e.g. Weka , R , Python etc.Experience in working with product teams to deliver machine - learning algorithms for real world problemsClient and project management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsComfortable working in team - oriented , deadline driven environmentProficiency with Excel and PowerPoint , working knowledge of unstructured data analysis tools , and Business Intelligence (BI) tools a plusPassion and ability to quickly learn new technologiesTTEC ValuesLead Everyday Do the Right Thing Reach for Amazing Seek First to Understand Act as One Live life Passionately,
