You ll collaborate with our talented and dedicated problem-solving technologists across the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global network.The JPMC Web Team is responsible for providing build ,SRE and operational support services for all the leading Applications and Web Servers across the UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms for multiple lines of business giving the successful candidate an opportunity to broaden not only their technical skills but also knowledge of the businesses that combine to make up JPMorgan.The team works in conjunction with other technology towers and LOBs to ensure that Web products are deployed around a set of standards and best practices that is integrated with the enterprise infrastructure.We are looking for a Web Engineer who has a proven track record in Application & Web Server deployment and administration.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:We are looking for a Web Engineer who has a proven track record in Application & Web Server deployment and administration.We expect you to have experience of: Deploying App/Web servers in a large enterprise. Installation and Configuration of Web/App servers. Network Products and Protocols (TCP/IP, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Intrusion Detection, DNS). Good understanding of Security standards. Implementing High Availability & Disaster Recovery options. Scripting languages PERL & Shell Exposure to at least one of the following operating systems Linux; Solaris; AIX Exposure to industry recognized monitoring tools (For e.g. Tivoli OMXE, APM ,Grafana) Any certifications are a plus.It s nice if you have: Experience of working on cloud, java build pack, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages Hand on knowledge on Java , J2EE , Python , Ansible Working Knowledge on cloud or other platform level technology or service (Cloud Foundry, Mesos, Kubernetes etc.)Good written and verbal communication is an important part of the role as you will be part of a global team that will be collectively responsible to deliver on projects.This position will provide the right candidate with an excellent opportunity to enhance their existing skills in their core area as well as broaden and expand their knowledge across the range of products (Messaging/Web/DB), platforms (UNIX, Linux, Windows) and businesses we support.,
