We are hiring the Release Engineer with the following skill-set.Note-Permanent remote work is also available.Title: Release EngineerLocation: Indore, MP / Pune, MH / Work from homePlease note: The candidate should be ready to work from 05:00 pm to 10:30 pm daily. The remaining hours can be flexible.Experience: 7+ yearsJob Description-The main purpose of the role:Work with technology teams to onboard applications, automate build and release tasks to enterprise release automation using team city. Design and develop team city components to integrate with securing coding platform Veracode, automate pre-policy, sandbox scans.Key Responsibilities: - Manage tools and perform maintenance and troubleshooting of build/deployment systems- Design, set up, and enforce standards, conventions, processes, and procedures for development as well as build and release engineering-related activities.- Support ongoing BAU requests for new components, production support for existing applications in Team City, GitHub, SDA- Mentor application teams on the release automation process.- Must have a great attitude to handle multiple day to day responsibilities for supporting the build and release automation needs for Releases and Patches- Update documentation for automated build processes and communicate standards and best practices to help the teamSkills and Experience:- 8+ years of experience with Source Control Management such as GitHub or SVN, DevOps, Build / Deployment automation.- Experience with the following tools: Team City, Jenkins, Maven, Deployment Automation, Artifactory, VisualSVN, GitHub, Tripwire, Veracode, JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.- Expert knowledge of Configuration Management concepts like branching, merging, integration, and versioning for strategizing on best practices.- Exposure to any of the following programming languages: C#, Java, Ruby, Node.js, Perl.- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban- Experience working with Web servers Apache and IIS- Thorough understanding and knowledge of build/release processes, standards, methodologies, and tools- Experience with secure coding, change monitoring, and reporting, and some basic understanding of Windows / Linux Servers- Experience of working in an investment banking technology environment would be valuable.Personal Requirements:- Numerate, IT-based degree, experience in a build/change/release position.- Excellent communication and inter personnel skills- Results-driven, with a strong sense of accountability- A pro-active, motivated approach.- The ability to operate with urgency and prioritize work accordingly- Strong decision-making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgment- A structured and logical approach to work- Demonstrable experience of working effectively within collaborative team structures, as a leader and team player, ideally in a technology-based business environment.,
