    ABFL-Regional Credit Manager-Mortgages-Jaipur4)KEY RESULT AREAS:WRITETHE KEY RESULTS EXPECTED FROM THE JOB AND THE SUPPORTING ACTIONS FOR EACH OF THESE KEY RESULT AREAS (FOR A MAJORITY OF JOBS TYPICALLY THERE COULD BE 4- 7 KEY RESULT AREAS)-MAXIMUM 10 KRAS CAN BE UPDATEDKey Result Areas (Max 1325 Characters)Supporting Actions(Max 1325 Characters)To assess the viability of credit lending proposals from credit as well as risk perspective based on institutionalized processes and dynamic market information at Multiple Branch level situated at different cities of different states called Zone.Assessment of proposal leads to decision of not going ahead with the proposal or Approval of the cases which fall under the credit delegation authority of Regional Credit manager Level or Further recommendation and presentation of the proposal to respective committee level.
    • To undertake thoroughly and objective critical analysis of the credit proposal submitted by the local credit team based on pre determined criteria and analysis of market information, current macroeconomic scenario, current portfolio concentration, etc
    • Suggest or validate structuring of credit facilities to provide end to end solutions to customers credit requirements through products available in the Mortgage kitty
    • Identifying & accepting the mitigants and strengths for going ahead with the transaction
    • To ensure revert back to the team of analysts and sales teams with analysis of the broad parameters for considering or not considering the given proposal
    • Need based interaction with the customers local Builders, lawyers, consultants, Real estate brokers etc to work out the lending formalities efficiently
    • To suggest measures for ensuring workability of the loan proposals to the Credit Analysts and RMs, keeping risk in check
    • To continuously update the Credit Analyst and sales team on the broad parameters for validating lending proposals, provide regular trainings to the team members for the same
    • To adhere to regulatory norms related to the technical, legal and local laws of various states.
    • To review the proposals and recommend those proposals beyond the delegated authority to Credit Committee.
    • Evaluate new credit proposals / review existing credit exposures logged in with a view to especially bringing out the industry, business, financial, management and facility structure risk contained in the credit proposal. The role needs to bring out the collateral and other credit risk mitigation to take decision / facilitate the approving authority to take decision on the credit proposal.
    To ensure efficient Turnaround time (TATs) for validating the proposals
    • To effectively deploy processes and mechanisms for ensuring high quality TATs for validating lending proposals & share the same with all concerned at the branches and HO level
    • To approve cases as per the approving authority matrix as defined in the policy within defined TAT to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Submission of high value and deviated cases to applicable level committee for sanction for closing the approval process after validation and inputs.
    • To ensure prompt resolution/ explanation of queries raised by sanctioning committee
    To co-ordinate with MOG and other support functions for operational effectiveness
    • To liaise with the local and central MOG team for various transactional as well as monitoring processes, and Portfolio Analysis, MIS monitoring etc
    • To ensure that there is proactive rigorous tracking of clients & regularization of sticky accounts to achieve zero NPA in co ordination with the local Credit and business team
    • To facilitate the audits/ legal proceedings for the Mortgages and Risk function and ensure that all details are provided
    To monitor and highlight MIS to the section head and local credit as well as business team for better business understanding
    • To monitor their data analysis and accumulation and ensure that key parameters, performance updates, interest reset changes etc are highlighted to the Section Head credit and the credit analysts and business teams
    • To monitor the status of all important initiatives with the Credit Analysts and update them, support the Credit Analysts for closure
    • To monitor variations with the threshold limits & review trends and provide inputs for various presentations
    To work towards skill enhancement and team building
    • To guide team mates for better customer acquisition & new ways of proposal analysis & new concepts
    • To nominate team members for product, behavioral & negotiation trainings and work for self development initiatives
    Process ManagementEnsure that the credit analysts appraise the proposals with the required due diligence and all relevant information are being captured to take a credit decision as per the product, policies and Regulatory compliance norms.Ensuring that end to end processes are followed as per the SOPs as defined for Mortgages at the local assessment levelEnsuring proper distributor network is being built to avoid future fraudsContinuous improvement in credit approval process to meet the dynamic business needs and instituting mechanisms for adherence of risk associated with the products, safety of financed amount and customer satisfactionAppointment, Development, Training and Performance of the Credit Analyst team of the Mortgage Credit & Risk Team.Ensuring that requisite Credit Analysts are appointed as and when locations are opened and at the existing location considering the scale of operations and productivity.Regular Product , processes training to Business team, Credit Analysts, Credit processing agents to ensure one face to the customer.To reduce the unproductive capacity among employees by reduction of rejections in systemMonitoring requirements specific to mortgage businessOverall monitoring of pending OTC and PDD documents for the zone are collected, Critical review of the pending documents.Keeping an eye on large ticket loans by tracking various covenants. Knowledge on categorization of builders in various locations (Category A, B, C) with reputation of various builders in terms of completion, saleability of the project etc.Identifying sticky advances and conduct meeting with the customer, monitor and drive the collection of the overdue amounts to regularise the portfolio,Understanding of the various mortgage markets including complexities of various SME and middle market corporate cases. To have updated knowledge on various changes in the legal, technical parameters, local laws, regulatory changes etc. Business knowledge on industry performances and trends and real estate marketsTo maintain network with other financial institutions and able to take independent local industry references for customers if requiredMarket Intelligence Product / Process / Policy knowledge at par with industry to be maintained knowledge on eligibility criteria , terms with other financial institutionsAnalysing early traits emerging from portfolio data of various locations and of overall zoneQualifications:Any Graduate
