DescriptionWe are looking for talented engineers to be a member of our Software Development and Operation (DevOps) team. You will be involved in building and maintaining solutions that use latest Big Data and Machine Learning technologies. You will be a part of a team of engineers that build self- healing, auto- scaling highly available infrastructures.ResponsibilitiesRe- engineer deployment and infrastructure maintenance process as needed to better suite business requirements Identify scaling issues and provide knowledgeable recommendations for actionable solutions Review customer requirements and suggest solutions platform that best fit their needs, keeping their business goals in mind Lead a distributed team and interact with business owners to understand requirements and define actionable goals to the teamRequirementsAbility to code and script in Python, Perl, and Bash (also comfortable with using an appropriate IDE) Ability to use and understand a wide variety of open source tools like Docker, Nagios Experience in automation/ configuration management using either Ansible, Chef, Puppet or an equivalent Experience in managing AWS SDK Knowledge in maintaining at least 3 of database systems like PostgreSQL, Oracle, PostGIS, Cassandra, ElasticSearch or Solr Knowledge in at least 4 web/ application servers like WebLogic, WildFly, WebSphere, Apache, Ngix, GUnicorn Prior experience with virtualization technologies like VSphere, Vagrant, Docker Knowledge in building and maintaining Hortonworks or Cloudera based Hadoop infrastructure, including Kafka, Spark, Zookeeper, Hive, MapReduce Strong background in Linux and Windows based administration Prior experience in virtualization technologies like VSphere, Vagrant or Docker is a must Familiar with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Rackspace, and or Openstack Cloudera certification is a plus Bachelors or Masters degree in CS, Engineering or a related portfolio of professional experience,
