Job summary:As the Travel, Meetings & Events BI Analyst you ll work together with the Travel, Meetings & Events Business Intelligence Manager and team members to assist with the Global Data Warehouse and all associated reporting. You will support the BI Manager with KPI reporting, dashboard production, emissions and quantitative value tracking, RFP consolidation and various ad hoc reporting. You ll also collaborate with category and area Travel, Meetings & Events operations leaders to provide data assisting with their Indirect Cost Reduction initiatives and support of stakeholder engagement.Overall, the successful candidate will have strengths in analytics, programming and the development/implementation of management reporting. Key Responsibilities:

Automation, consolidation and distribution of ongoing reports, including monthly dashboards and other production reports.
Conceptualize, design and produce documentation illustrating proposed enhancements to optimize BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization.
Enhance current standard reporting and develop new, actionable reporting.
Provide reports to support team on key performance indicators (KPIs) and saving measurements.
Creation of ad hoc reports as requested by Stakeholders.

Key Competencies and Experience:

Strong experience in the Travel Industry (Airline, Hotels, Other Segments etc.).
Expertise in MS excel and have prior experience of creating/automating complex dashboards and reports.
Analytical ability to understand the business and provide commentary to support the reports.
Should have experience in complex processes such that he/she is familiar with complexities of reporting workarounds/solutions.
Ability to build data visualizations with a strong understanding of the appropriate chart types to use to highlight patterns in the data.
Ability to work effectively in an independent setting as well as part of virtual/global team.
Self-starter with an ability to multi task in a fast paced environment, including strong time-management and prioritization skills.
Responsive to a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
Must be analytically minded, detail oriented and motivated to excel.
Preferred experience in Meetings & Events analytics, although not required

Qualifications/Skills:Degree in a related discipline, typically Business, Analytics, and/or Supply Chain ManagementMS Office with a focus on advanced Excel, SQL, SSIS, PowerBI and other data visualization tools

Additional skills (not required) in data science, AI and ML are favorable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
