Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Improve Receipt Quality through improving RIR time, timely escalation of repetitive issues, disruptive suppliers etc.
  • Work closely with Supplier Quality Improvement group by communicating the supplier non-conformances and ensure the action plan from SQI. Monitor the effectiveness of the actions taken.
  • Ensure Quality of incoming components at receipt stage as per drawings.
  • Monitor supplier parts rejection.
  • Ensure gauges / equipment calibration and MSA study as per plan.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of failed part of assembly.
  • Improve DOL (Green Channel) performance.
  • Monitor & improve component Audit process.
  • Support customer quality for analysis of field issues & implementation of new projects.
  • Work closely with RQA team members of other plants for horizontal deployment of RQA system & New initiatives.
  • Conduct Local supplier audits to improve Local supplier DOL.
  • Monitor & improve traveller card, gate audit issues.
  • Review component audit parts parameters with CQA for warranty, ZDT & stock yard LPH issues
  • Standardize & upgrade receipt inspection system across FES.
  • Ensure effective utilisation of available resources.
Experience:3 to 6 years in Automobile / Engg. Industry working in Quality Assurance.General Requirements:System knowledge of APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), handle Receiving inspection, analytical mind set.Qualification:Diploma/BE - in Mechanical/Auto/Production Engg,
