EY - Consulting Enterprise Risk - Internal Audit experienced StaffAs part of our Consulting Enterprise Risk team, our clients look for EY s expertise across the consulting solutions and specifically for engagements related to Internal Audit, Process compliance and reviews, SOX 404 and, Developing Standard Operating Procedure manuals, Enterprise Risk Management & Construction and Real Estate Advisory Services (CREAS).There really is no average day in this role, since every client will have multi-faceted challenges and a distinct business environment. Whichever industry or client you re working with, you ll have plenty of opportunities to expand your business network and transform yourself into a truly global professional.The opportunityThis is client-facing role in a rapidly growing practice, where you ll build client relationships with key stakeholders, including management executives for some of the most globally recognized brands. It makes this the perfect place to gain a deeper understanding of complex businesses transactions, all the while recommending solutions to some of the most pressing business challenges and process inefficiencies. Youll also team with our performance improvement professionals in multidisciplinary engagements, helping major global clients transform and sustain business performance. The team is focused on payment processing, business process re-engineering and internal audits in the Construction and Infrastructure space. An additional focus of this team is leveraging emerging technologies like Robotics, AI, Advanced Analytics to enhance various Internal Audit, internal control and payment application solutions being provided to the client, and actively work in building multiple tools and assets for efficient and effective client delivery. • Execution on client engagement - ensuring quality delivery as per engagement letter.
• Part of assigned engagements in Construction and Real Estate sector.
• Understanding of related industry issues / trends and conduct Internal audits, business process re-engineering and internal control engagements for global clients, focused on the Construction portfolio.
• Experience and working knowledge of Construction program/ project management, cost estimation, contracts/ tendering and Procurement.
• Demonstrate an application and solution-based approach to the problem-solving technique. The same can be utilized for research on delivery of solutions.
• Review of payment applications for contract compliance, supporting documentation, document validation, budgetary compliance and other related aspects.
• Develop strong working relationships with client and build a level of influence with key client contacts.
• Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution / methodology development.
• Supporting general contractors/ key vendors in streamlining the documentation process and suggesting best industry practices.

• Strong academic history (Degree in Business, Accounting, or similar work experience in similar industry, Big 4 preferred)

• Proficient in MS-Office Suite, data analysis & validation
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize deliverables effectively in order to achieve optimum results.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 1-3 years of a Big 4 or professional firm or professional industry experience in Internal audits
• Sector experience for Construction, Real Estate/ Infrastructure is a MUST.
• Experience in project management (scheduling, budgeting), construction payment processing, contracting/ tendering is strongly preferred.
• Strong academic history (degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering or similar).
• Ability to handle complex situations with a calm demeanour.
• Exceptional command on spoken and written English
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to think differently and innovate
