Experians Decision Analytics team is looking for a Data Analyst with advanced programming and analytical skills. This is an entry level position leading to data modeling or data engineering roles within the team. The candidate should be able to work well under direct supervision and select from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. It is expected that this person will be an expert at problem solving, analytical, and have excellent organization skills. Responsibilities Execute analytical or data intelligence projects, at times leading project from scoping and design through documentation and implementation including large-scale Hadoop deployments. Perform exploratory data analysis to confirm data integrity and to derive appropriate analytical attributes. Collaborate with internal and external clients to determine analysis and implementation requirements. Interpret analysis results, identify trends and issues, and recommend alternatives to support business objectives. Develop and QA statistical models, building using GLM and Machine Learning techniques. Develop and QA business intelligence reports from data and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders. Participate in the QA of variables and models for logic and specification accuracy and in support of implementation of statistical models and other decision tools. - Support the sales, development, enhancement, or maintenance of analytical products or processes. Experience Qualifications Advanced degree required in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer or Data Science or related field. Minimum of 2 years experience in data mining and analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning or related course work. Strong knowledge of statistical analysis software. Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and in writing to both a technical and non-technical audiences around the globe via web-conferencing and at in-person meetings. Experience in programming in SQLHQL, SAS, PythonPySpark, R, Java, UNIX scripting, C++, Perl, Excel VB. Experience in designing and developing cloud based solutions preferably through AWS. Experience in programming in parallel and distributed computing for Big Data such as MapReduce, Spark, Hadoop, Yarn. ,
