Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesResponsibilities & Key deliverables Development of parts as per the APQP methodology. Manufacturing feasibility study based on drawing & supplier processes. Process finalization (Proto & Serial production) with supplier * Facilities, Tools and Gauges & Poke Yoke concept design to implementation at Supplier to meet drawing requirements Conducting Production trail run at Supplier as per PPAP guidelines * Conducting MSA and SPC study as per guideline * Joint inspection of parts as per drawing for dimensional, Metallurgical and fnctional aspects * Approval for dispatch of Proto, Tooled and PPAP parts * Capacity assessment and analysis various process like casting, ,ac * Conduction Cycle time study and [email protected] demonstration to meet Capacity requirements Conducting fitment trails at Manufacturing plant Defect analysis with QC Story, G8D or basic 7 QC tools & plan for ERA, ICA & PCA. Conducting assessment for New supplier and existing Suppliers for Risk evaluation, Gap Audit, System and Process sustainance * Process Estimation for pricing of New parts * Process synthesis to support Vendor selection VA/ VE proposals to reduce the cost of existing parts. Support Budget preparation for Part and Project ECN implementation as per Change management guideline Supplier upgradation through technical assistance to supplier including training, counselling, guiding etc. Preparation of MIS and DWM to report Management Develop synergy within / outside department & with supplier. * Project Management Adherence to QMS and Mahindra Development guidelinesExperienceMinimum 3 to 7 years of experience as Automobile industry on Engine commodity parts like Casting (Al & GCI), Machining, Proprietary parts, Precise Machining,Special Processes,Pipes,Rubber as a STAIndustry PreferredAutomotiveQualificationsBE preferably in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engg from reputed College. Through out First Class in academicsGeneral RequirementsSpecific desirable experiences/ Preferred knowledge areas : Competencies Expected: Knowledge of Engine,Casting (Al&GCI), Machining,Proprietary parts, Electronic parts, Precise Machining , Special Processes, Pipes,Rubber. * Knowledge of various assembly methods, Automation technologies, Poke yoke and Functional testing Excellent Audit skills Knowledge of quality tools ISO/TS quality systems, Knowledge about APQP / PPAP / PFMEA/ MSA / SPC / DCP / GD &T * Handling of Inspection Equipements and metrological knowledge Structured Problem solving Techniques like QC Story, G8D * Capacity analysis skills * Project Management skills Knowledge of VAVE * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PPT, Word etc.,,
