Located in Rajarhat beside the IT hub, the hotel offers a distinct mix of leisure and business facilities.The hotel has 147 guest rooms with spectacular outdoor Jacuzzis, three restaurants and a bar, a fitness centre and spa, an infinity swimming pool a business centre, and two meeting rooms. Over a 1000 guests can be accommodated in cocktail/reception style in Bern, the largest pillar-free banqueting facility of over 7000 square feet, apart from 3 breakout halls of over 650 square feet each.The hotel has separate smoking (7th & 8th floors) and non-smoking floors (4th, 5th, 6th, 9th & 10th floors), free internet in areas except the banquets, and is noted for its unique offering of Swiss hospitality and attention to detail.The award winning Bars and Restaurants of Swiss tel Hotels and Resorts have become places of entertainment throughout the world and Swiss tel Kolkata is no exception.DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGERDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and execute annual E-Marketing plan including
  • Work on online distribution management, database acquisition and e-mail campaigns, search engines optimization / marketing activities, social media strategy, online advertising, mobile marketing and tracking, analysis and control
  • Manage and execute an e-Commerce strategy to include all online marketing efforts of the property including traffic and revenue generation programs via SEO, SEM, affiliate relationships, email, and other online mechanisms. These programs will cover both acquiring new customers and encouraging repeat visits by existing customers.
  • Preserve brand standards and price consistency across all online distribution channels.
  • Gather and analyze intelligence on markets threats and opportunities.
  • Manage various e-tools. For example: eCRM (Customer Relationship Management), websites CMSs (Content Management System), Social Media Management Platform etc.
  • Build a destination-focused web strategy.
  • Manage strategic alliances with online travel agencies.
  • Stimulate support and development of the online strategy within the hotel
  • Work with creative agency wherever relevant for creative related to online use
  • Work on action plan to grow GDS business
  • Conduct regular audits on pricing consistency across OTA s and Brand.com
  • Work towards development of relevant content for Brand.com and Social media
  • Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned
Joint Responsibilities
  • Preparation of the marketing plan of the all relevant hotel facilities with a blend of online and offline activities
  • Conducting the marketing meeting with relevant departments twice a month
  • Presenting marketing ideas to the DOS over a weekly meeting relating to the short term (2 months) marketing planning agenda
  • Calculation of ROI of marketing spends of the hotel
  • Ensuring growth and development of the Markcom executive
  • Analyzing the marketing activities of the competition and reporting on opportunities
  • Actively drive and participate in the annual S&M plan for the hotel
, *EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing.
  • Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent.
  • Experience managing PPC, SEO and Affiliate programmes.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
  • Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media.
  • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role.
