Job Description

Reporting To: Supervisor - Housekeeping / A F M / FMPosition / Functional Goals To provide efficient food & pantry services to Chairmen / MD / Directors & staff, guests as per details given by the client.To manage floor pantries.Duties & Responsibilities Monitor Cleaning of pantry & area under his charge.Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality.Locks up and stores all food, eatables and other equipment items to avoid wastage misuse.Monitor waste removal at every 02 hrs.Ensure proper stock of Crockery, Clothes & Gloves etc.Maintenance of pantry exhausts.Maintenance of Tea / coffee machine, refrigerator & other equipments.Orders and monitor requisitions of soft drinks and suppliesPlaces bottled goods and glasses, food items, lunch & dinner to make an attractive displayWashes soiled utensils, glasses, and equipmentCo - ordinate with FOE for flower arrangements (if deputed with Chairman s / M D office)Updating all pantry related checklists & records.Regular inventory check, proper storage at his pantry.Report any abnormality to FMEmployee Specification & Key competencies Handle guest requests in a professional manner.Ensure food handling standards are metOther duties as assigned or reasonably requestedMust be able to read, write and speak English.Able to be on feet for long periods of time.Able to lift at least 15 Kg.Supervise and manage pantry boy & motivate him to perform batter.Excellent people management skills.Must meet grooming standards.Meet / exceed customer expectations.Must meet or exceed the team expectations.An energetic personalityKey Performance Measures Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirementsKnowledge of Pantry & Food ServicesPreparation of pantry consumable, equipment, hygiene reports as required.,
