Job Description

    Warm Greeting!!We are hiring Manager-Data Modeler for Tier 1 CompanyLocation: Pan IndiaEXP: 8+ yearsResponsible for data modeling, including model consolidation and integrationDraft and enforce data modeling standardsConduct sessions and interviews to gather data requirements.Understand and apply logical entity-relational design conceptsDocument, develop, and maintain data modelsParticipate in business process modeling, working with the developers, with respect to data mapping and validation of the datas life cycle.Consult with DBAs on the translation of logical models into physical models.Deal with vendor-related issues concerning the support, implementation, upgrade and impact analysis, evaluation, and selection of third-party tools.Have working knowledge of Data modeling tool like Erwin or equivalent modeling tools like Power Designer, ER StudioQualification:Bachelors degree in computer science, MSc, MBA in IT business, or a related field8+ years of relevant experience in data warehousing and data managementExperience in building conceptual, logical and physical modelingSolid understanding of modeling concepts like normalization, denormalization, 3NF models, data marts, aggregations, star schema, snowflake, SCD type etc.Ability to define data modeling standards and enforce the standards in the data modelStrong database knowledge preferably in SQL Server/OracleFunctional knowledge in finance, accounting, sales, operations, customer and associate (employee) domains.Excellent knowledge in usage of at least one data modeling tool preferably Erwin.
