Job Description

Its innovative culture is driven by the passion of its 4240- strong team of scientists who work with clients from around the world to solve their scientific problems, improve R&D productivity, speed up time to market and lower the cost of innovation.Job Purpose: To manage high value projects from initiation to closure to ensure achievement of project objectives for Development Services.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop full understanding of contract and ensure fulfilment of contract obligations
  • Ensure effective initiation by creating a charter, bringing appropriate set of stakeholders together and by completing system requirements for initiation
  • Prepare planning documents, including schedule, and secure requisite approvals
  • Ensure effective execution by running review meetings at desired frequency through adequate agenda setting, capturing decisions and action item and by actively following up action items to completion
  • Ensure right level of control through effective use of governance frameworks and established escalation mechanisms
  • Ensure timely and transparent sharing of information including appropriate dashboards and status updates
  • Proactive risk-identification, escalation and mitigation
  • Enable resolution of issues in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure systematic closure of activities as needed
  • Analyze data to pick patterns towards enabling continuous improvement
  • Liaise with quality control, quality assurance, finance, logistics, supply chain to ensure smooth execution of projects
  • Serve as Project Manager for chemical development projects and apply project management principles to ensure on time and in full deliveries
  • Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace
  • Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are adhered within the team
Educational Qualification:
  • Masters in disciplines relevant to chemistry, preferably with PMP or equivalent certification
Technical/functional Skills:
  • Should have scientific training in chemistry along with project management training
  • Proficient in project management knowledge areas
  • Proficient in project management software (MS Project or equivalent)
  • Comfortable with data analysis using MS Excel
  • Comfortable with presentations using MS PowerPoint
  • Comfortable with collaboration platforms such as MS Team
  • Good knowledge of CRO/CDMO/Pharma/Biotech industry environment
  • Knowledge of operations, process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies will be a plus
  • Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
Experience: Overall 15 years of industry experience out of which 9 years of relevant Project Management experience requiredBehavioral Skills:
