Job Description

Corporate& Investment Bank (CIB) Documentation Management Operations (DMO) is responsible for the global strategy and day-to-day oversight of the account, services and product legal documentation provided to CIB clients. Document Management Operations group Wholesale Payments Team works very closely with Implementation Groups in onboarding new clients or new products / locations to existing clients. This includes creation of doc package, review when the documents are returned by the clients, indexing metadata into the firm s strategic solutions.   1. Support the group in obtaining, analyzing and reporting on data sets from various systems as part of a broader scoping & planning function for new business initiatives.
  2. Co-coordinating project activities across different groups, technology teams and cross-functional groups.
  3. Hosting regular strategic project calls to deliver key project updates and highlight critical risk and issues.
  4. Ability to adapt and contribute to internal processes and be innovative in finding solutions for all the issues that can arise while delivering a project.

  6. Communicate in open forums and meetings; steer the project towards success by bridging discussions amongst multiple parties and resolving complex issues.
  7. Support in BAU project capacity planning based on the in-scope documentation.
  8. Understand and assess project cross impacts and dependencies.
  9. Act as an escalation point to contact to Identify issues and co-ordinate with the relevant functions internally (e.g.: credit, legal etc.) for prompt resolution on disputed points within set time-frame parameters.
  10. Working closely with regional Legal operations Department, Credit, Collateral team, Onboarding team and other stakeholders.
  11. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support strategic documentation programs and tactical project initiatives.
  12. Ensure that team members follow the procedure and all the procedures are drafted in lines with the controls policies.
  13. Ensure that all control policies of the organization and DMO are fully adhered to.
  14. Stake holder management is a must as we work with colleagues and senior management across the globe.
  15. Ability to generate reports and scorecards, present them in operations calls, provide capacity and contingency planning.
  16. Ability to adapt and contribute to internal processes and be innovative in finding solutions for all the issues that can arise while delivering a project.
People Management:- People Management may be a requirement from this role.- The candidate should have relevant experience in working with people and people related issues.- He/she will be expected to conduct one to ones with their direct reports, prepare productivity score cards, provide feedback at least monthly and conduct performance reviews.- The candidate needs to work closely with the team and develop and groom each person according to their strengths and opportunities and build their career map.- He/she needs to be motivated and a solution-oriented person in order to lead the team into success against strict project deadlines and potential issues that may arise.- Hiring team members and training them also forms a part of this profile.Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
  1. Minimum of 11+ years experience in Treasury Services related documentation, gained within Investment Banking / Law Firm environment.
  1. Rich experience in Banking / Investment Banking Operations.
  1. Strategic thinking and good business judgment.
  1. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with business partners and other support functions.
  1. Proficiency in MS office is a must.
