Work with multiple solution design options, and recommend the most appropriate solution considering business priorities, technical feasibility, return on investment and delivery timelines. Participate in work estimation, scope definition and delivery planning activities. Develop, review and test high quality code, in accordance with Maersk s current framework and security standards building the right things the right way. Build strong collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, the Product Owner, developers, architects, designers, UX experts, external agencies, vendor staff and partners. Validate built solution with the Product Owner and business stakeholders as required, including participating in code walkthroughs and user acceptance testing. Highlight risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions that affect the development or deliveries. Increase release cadence and quality through automated delivery pipeline implementation; focusing on the reduction of time to value while minimising defect leakage. Stay up to date on the latest technologies, and use this knowledge to help the team make well-informed, future-proof, and pragmatic decisions to ensure that the product remains relevant. Participate in the evolution of company level software engineering best practices, standards, and policies as it related to software development. Guide, coach and mentor less experienced engineers. Drive an agile mindset and promote agile practices within your team.Show More We are looking forTechnical skills At least a Bachelor s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience as a software developer, working in large scale global teams or complex environments. Proven experience in: Entity Framework Core, .NET Core, IIS, ASP.NET Core, GIT, Selenium, and Microsoft Azure Web App; Swagger, REST API, microservices, MySQL, SQL Server. Desirable skills in: Angular 6, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, Kubernetes, MicroStrategy, Azure Datalake, Maestro, Oracle Polaris/Black Duck. Desirable experience with integrating with Finance systems like SAP. Highly skilled in writing clean, reusable and efficient code that is easy to read; unit & integration tests across all components. Good knowledge and understanding of design patterns and data structures. Experience in delivering CI/CD related solutions with a high degree of automation. A good understanding of software architecture and technical design. Experience with highly available mission critical software applications. Experience with Event or Service based systems. Experience with agile/iterative software development methodologies. Strong methods mindset and experience with development methods and processes.Personal skills Very strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements; works well under pressure. Ability to work independently and lead others.
