Job Description

    PostgreSQL Database Developer - Java (4-8 yrs)Location : Mohali- Experience with Oracle to Postgre migration at back end and front end level- Should possess good knowledge in JAVA code analysis to understand the embedded SQL code functionality- Conversant with SQL, PL/SQL and PostgreSQL coding independent of scenarios- Develop conversion process flows and prepare documentation supporting database migration approach.- Well versed in developing Oracle to Postgre migration test plans and detailed level technical testing- Collaborate with application and infra teams to achieve desired migration results.- Disseminate information across the teams, and keep up to date with functional improvements of solution- Strong logical approach to break down complex problem statements into modular solutions- Identify, analyze issues, make recommendations, and escalate issues for resolution in a timely manner.- Strong background in functional analysis and requirements gathering, and solid understanding of the agile way of working- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and within a team- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills are required and must be able to interface well with the stakeholders
