Job Description

    • Analyze and monitor release performance trends and identify improvements areas.
    • Find root cause of performance issues and implement solutions to optimize existing code while keeping functionality intact.
    • Define best practices for development to write performant code across all layers (i.e. UI, Business and Database layers).
    • Collaborate with performance testing team to ensure testing environment configurations are at par with production.
    • Benchmarking load to be put on performance testing environment by gathering data from production environment.
    • Collaborate with other developers across multiple departments and technologies.
    • Ensure non-functional requirements for performance (CPU usage, latency) are met.
    What you bring:
    • 8 to 12 Years of experience as Performance Engineer dealing with performance optimization of enterprise grade applications.
    • Extensive knowledge of Dynatrace, Splunk and other performance monitoring/logging tools.
    • Excellent programming skills in Angular, C#, ASP.NET, Web API, SQL Server, Oracle.
    • Sound experience in working with IIS hosted .NET applications.
    • Strong understanding of the CLR, threading and memory management.
    • Should be able to write and understand complex SQL.
    • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in identifying database performance issues by reviewing SQL execution plan.
    • Familiarity of Java programming and troubleshooting performance issues with Tomcat, JBoss deployment.
    • Should be able to troubleshoot performance issues using Debug Diagnostic Tool (DebugDiag).
    • Sound knowledge of Performance Counters and Monitor.
    • Knowledge of NeoLoad and JMeter is preferred.
