You will be part of the Core application packaging team, which has a global footprint and works with clients and wider team members spread across the world. Together we drive consistency across business divisions and optimize operations and support costs, by providing timely, robust, cost effective solutions and products to our clients.You ll be working in the Core Application Engineering in Mumbai. As an IT Software Packaging Engineer, you ll play an important role in maintaining integrity of the desktop builds by provided application packages that will adhere to the UBS corporate standards using latest application packaging technologies. As a member of the team you will be exposed to various internal engineering teams as well external vendors and will be a major part of the well-established core application packaging function with perfect exposure to enhance your technical skills and knowledge. Team work is pivotal to our success, it plays a very important role. We offer flexibility in the workplace and equal opportunities to all our team members., excellent knowledge of Application packaging technologies such as Windows Installer (MSI), Numecent & Microsoft App-V virtualization within the finance sector. Complete understanding of the Windows OS including desktop and Servers. Previous exposure to middleware components such as C++, run-times, JAVA JRE, .Net, HTML5 Sound knowledge in PowerShell scripting and application virtualization know-how to apply standards, methods, techniques and templates as defined by our SDLC produce secure and clean application packages that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing preferable previous experience in application packaging using Numecent and App-v virtualization, planning and delivering solutions in a large scale enterprise environment Bachelor s degree or equivalent with a focus in Computer science a committed and visionary team player with analytical and logical mind-set (you can solve problems like nobody s business) well organized with an innate sense of how to prioritize across a complex environment a hands-on person with natural instincts to support our customers curious, collaborative and constantly interested in learning new things fluent in English and eager to work in an English Speaking Global Team
