Job Description

    *The WM Vendor Risk program seeks an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to support its efforts to ensure all risks are inventoried, measured, and mitigated to the extent possible and in line with the growth of the organization, organically and through acquisitions. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Support several WM Vendor Risk programs, Business as Usual (BAU) activities, and strategic initiatives
    • Facilitate onboarding of new third party relationships for WM
    • Review and follow-up on results of various assessments conducted by due diligence and control groups and escalate issues where necessary to the global WM Vendor Risk team
    • Develop and maintain WM Vendor Risk desktop procedures and processes
    • Collaborate with SMEs across the WM Vendor Risk team to coordinate and manage various efforts and projects
    • Create and maintain knowledge-sharing documentation on Twiki and SharePoint
    • Assist with ongoing, ad hoc reporting as needed and development of presentations for senior management and key stakeholders
    • Maintain clear and consistent communication across regions to ensure timely completion of deliverables, potentially across multiple validation workstreams
    • Track, analyze, and report on KPIs and KRIs
    , * Skills and Requirements
    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field
    • 5-7 years of relevant risk management experience
    • Attention to detail, strong analytical, quantitative, and investigative problem-solving abilities
    • Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to swiftly transition between projects and tasks
    • Strong risk, process, and control validation/testing and/or assessment skills
    • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Ability to contribute to and collaborate with a global team
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Knowledge of the financial services industry; preferably in Wealth Management, finance, operations, or technology
    • Prior experience with third party and vendor relationship management
    • Experience with content management tools, including Twiki, SharePoint and Jive
    • Experience working in ServiceNow or any other major ticketing system
    • Familiarity with visualization tools is a plus (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Dataiku)
