Role Overview: This is a Business Unit Head for Trauma, Power Tools & MF portfolios. Accountable for leading the overall management of sales and marketing strategies, activities, operations, compliance and budgets associated with driving sales for the business unit as well as result in customer and patient satisfaction. Incumbent will play a critical role and is part of Commercial Leadership Team of JJMI as well.
Key Responsibilities: To deliver a better health outcome for Customers and patients. Communicate Vision and direction to larger team and ensure successful execution. Increase BU growth, profitability and market share for existing and potential customers through leadership of Sales functions. Implement business Strategies to achieve business outcomes. Champion business development of new channels, new market entries and business model innovations to drive value-added, mutually beneficial partnerships and effectively builds strong customer relationships with key stakeholders. Identify both opportunities & business at risk - Conduct regular Business reviews as a basis for challenging and improving both short- and long-term strategies & action plans. Manages and evaluates activities of key customer accounts, negotiates contracts of major customer accounts and provides guidance to sales team for sales, channel, category management initiatives are executed on plan. Liaise with and guide Sales personnel, Supply Chain, Finance and other functions to drive effective strategy, execution, teamwork and cooperation. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction with franchise through management of relationships, product support and service. Credo Based Leadership and inculcate strong culture of compliance People Management: Lead development of all sales employees & focus on building areas of strength Aid in career development through effective career conversations through the year Plan strong succession pipelines for all critical roles Create & execute development plans & action plans for all sales employees
Qualifications Education: Education Background: MBA from a leading tier-1/2 business school in India or overseas Experience in leading sales for a portfolio at a country level Strong healthcare industry knowledge and experience is preferable Experience And Skills: Total Work Experience 10+ years with minimum 6+ years in sales Strategic thinking with superior business judgment and acumen. Big Picture orientation and results driven Exceptional analytical skills, Market Research and competitive intelligence skills Superior communication, Leadership & people management skills Strong influencing and interpersonal skill Other: Should be proficient in Hindi and English
