This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesThis role sits in the Commercial & Corporate Institutional Bank (CCIB), Client Coverage COO organisation and is responsible for change delivery pertaining the Crypto Assets, NPM and Fintech processes and frameworks including risk management, governance and process / platform changes.StrategyThe role holder is responsible for assisting with the holistic strategic roll out of the Crypto Assets, NPM and Fintech processes and frameworks through a forward-looking capability roadmap that supports the Client Coverage business plan, while staying ahead of regulations and managing the evolving risk environment for the first line through industry and stakeholder engagement.BusinessThis role will work closely together with the Product Owner, supporting the business prioritisation of the capabilities Book-of-Work in close partnership with 2 nd line functions such as Conduct, Financial Crime & Compliance (CFFC) and Technology & Innovation, delivering maximum business value aligned to the capability strategic goals and incorporating the voice of the customer. In driving the capability business priorities, the role holder should also work closely with the Product Owner to:

  • Clearly define and communicate; vision, scope, business case and goals to the team and stakeholders
  • Work with key stakeholders to define, prioritise and maintain the Product Backlog
  • Provide product / process guidance and design expertise to enable delivery of the Crypto Assets, NPM and Fintech processes and frameworks
  • Work with vendors as necessary to ensure SCB needs are adequately represented such that the vendor product strategy aligns to SCB s medium to long term needs
  • Contribute into the end-to-end Business architecture by defining the capabilities and services required at each stage of the client lifecycle which touches their capability/process R&R.
  • Establish strong relationships & communication channels across each of the stakeholder areas
  • Organise & facilitate regular scrum events/ceremonies such as the sprint planning and retrospectives.
Processes / Risk Management / GovernanceThe role holder will work closely with the Process Owner in the following:
  • Ensuring effective roll out of the processes in line with the process control design and monitoring set out.
  • Work with key stakeholders across all Lines of Defence (LOD) support teams to ensure capability and process requirements are rolled out in line with latest requirements & regulations.
  • Ensuring proper change management processes being followed through and in line with the policies and standards in place, for example and not limited to, the Change Governance Policy and new Ways of Working (nWOW) Standards.
  • Escalate risks/issues/impediments faced during delivery and articulate trade off decisions or help needed from respective Refinement Forums/QPR/MPR as well as highlighting initiative/portfolio inter-dependencies.
  • Facilitate tracking and adoption of change against target business value/metric, articulating the contribution to Business Scorecards
  • Responsible for managing the initiative financials and monitor forecasts against quarterly budget disbursed
People and Talent To effectively manage the roll out of Crypto Assets, NPM and Fintech processes and frameworks, the role holder will work and/or lead a virtual team/squad to:
  • Support the delivery of business initiatives that are impacting the capability, including acting as feature owners that support platform / process design decision and prioritisation.
  • Support the consultation, review and implementation of new regulatory requirements and risks as detailed in the applicable Standards

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Degree or diploma qualified with 3 plus years of relevant experience in multiple phases of change initiatives, preferably with exposure to business project delivery roles
  • Subject Matter Expertise in the Client Lifecycle area, particularly Crypto Assets, NPM and Fintech Client needs including industry trends, regulations, technology
  • Experience working in an agile change delivery environment
  • Experience in defining strategic roadmaps, and demonstrable experience in influencing priority
  • Ability to create effective work relationships across business & borders
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior management, regulators and auditors
  • Excellent presentation and excel skills
  • Knowledge of Client Coverage / Middle Office activities aligned with Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional banking an advantage
  • Able to articulate risk clearly and in writing, for submission to Senior Leaders and Risk Governance forums.
