Job Description

  • Responsible for helping manage User Acceptance testing (from a business perspective) through the full system development life cycle from business requirements understanding, to data mapping and working with Development, QA and Business teams to facilitate feed, application functionality, and regression testing
  • Review Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Test Cases to understand the functional and technical requirements in order to support UAT testing of applications and verify UAT exit criteria are successfully met
  • Creation of detailed UAT plans and strategies to manage the UAT process
  • Manage/participate in multiple project work-streams concurrently
  • Chair triage calls with stakeholders from business, technology and management
  • Reporting on progress, issues and concerns to all stakeholders and management
  • Work with business and technology teams to discuss issues impacting testing and identify solutions
  • Manage discussions with stakeholders to discuss issues post completion of UAT and identify / implement improvement opportunities
Project Management Support
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
  • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
  • Execute the project according to the project plan
  • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Establish a weekly status report to be updated regularly and aggregated with all PMO related status reporting
QualificationsEducation & Professional Designation
  • Bachelors Degree, Masters, or equivalent experience
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • 4 to 6 years experience across user acceptance testing, planning and/or project and program management experience
  • Ability to handle multiple programs/project at once is required
  • 3+ years of experience in global financial institution, solid understanding of matrix management.
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in verbal and written communication including performing tasks related to controls, capturing requirements, and delivery
  • Working knowledge of AGILE
  • Knowledge and intimate understanding of the project management triple constraint (Time, Resources, Scope)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage effectively through influence and knowledge
  • High acumen in Microsoft products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and MS Project
  • Ability to clearly communicate situation appraisals via E-mail
