A $55bn global conglomerate, employing over 140,000 employees belonging to 100 nationalities, having business interests across Cement, Metals, mining, chemical, Fashion, Financial Services, Telecom, Textiles, is hiring for a Corporate Finance Professional for its holding companyJob Purpose - To be an internal corporate finance specialist with knowledge to support team leaders and businesses in assessing inorganic and organic opportunities and recommend solutions by assessing potential options / solutions which meet the growth objectives and seamless management of entire transaction process with various internal and external stakeholdersKey Deliverables:- Assist the Group Corporate Finance to implement Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) / Restructuring / Capital Review assignments in various businesses - To undertake detailed financial assessment of assignments/ capital investment proposals through standardized/ uniform analytical tools (like IRR, ROCE, pay back, etc) with an objective to provide financial inputs for enabling decision on the proposals - Assist Team Leaders/ conduct negotiations, take end-to end responsibility of documentation and closing of transaction- To track and analyze data on post deal performance of some select deals to compare anticipated benefit against realized benefit- Conduct industry analysis to evaluate new sectors /portfolio expansion to enhance Group market cap- Mentor Analyst Team members and train them to help enhance their skillsets on modelling, due diligence and valuation- Facilitate deal negotiations by filtering and identify key issues through comprehensive diligence of informationSkills/Experience:- CA first attempt or MBA Finance who has worked on M&As- within the age group of 35 years only. Younger the better. But minimum 10 years work-ex.- Specialized and updated knowledge of multiple sectors across businesses amidst dynamic business environment- Understanding key regulatory aspects governing the transaction- Analyze complex options involving financing, capital structure, valuation and tax aspects- Exp of dealing with Business Unit Heads, Functional Heads, Corporate Function Heads, CFO/ company secretaries of Group Companies- Exp of dealing with Investment bankers, Accounting firms, Legal firms,,
