Job Description

JPMAM s Fixed Income Middle Office is responsible for supporting the overall Fixed Income investment process, primarily working with Portfolio Managers, Investment Specialists, Traders, Risk Management, and other support functions. The team s core functions include managing the end-to-end operating environment and overseeing risk management and business analysis functions while driving AM wide strategic programs.The IBOR Conversion & Control Manager leads the conversion effort, communicates and coordinates directly with the Product team and is hands-on with data analysis and conversion from legacy Accounting Systems onto the IBOR platform. Asset Management experience is essential to ensure the translation of account records can be accurately and efficiently transferred to the IBOR platform. The Onboarding Manager is also responsible for coordination and management of teams tasked with assisting with such integrations & conversions, scheduling upload of accounts onto systems, process implementation, adherence to risk & control framework, creation of training documents and manage oversight support. Scope of responsibilities:

  • Develop into a subject matter expert on IBOR platform and Asset Management systems
  • Lead data analysis between internal systems, client/third party systems including process identification, data mapping, testing and conversion
  • Manage and resolve issues with internal trade, position and cash reconciliations comparing system reports to balances with the intention of identifying exceptions to ensure a level of high quality is achieved daily
  • Plan, schedule and manage all deliverables within the team
  • Effective monitor of deliverables to ensure high SLA compliance within set accuracy standards
  • Ensure adherence to all internal and external standard procedures and best practices
  • Address and/or escalate all material issues in a detailed & timely manner
  • Maintain a SOP and update the same on timely manner
  • Review of the operating processes to enhance efficiency, automation and improve controls
  • Liaise closely with the Manager to identify and implement on the job training initiatives for team members; own team related duties including vacation management, performance appraisals, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree plus minimum of 5-7 years experience in Financial Industry
  • Strong team player who exhibits strong communication and written skills
  • Ability to handle several tasks and different stakeholders simultaneously, and prioritize work based on deadlines
  • Results oriented self-starter who can lead efforts with little or high-level direction
  • Excel in prioritizing daily functions and dealing with multiple deadlines and high volumes of work
  • Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables/index), Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of Signavio, Xceptor and Altryx a plus
  • Understanding of various Access, reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects) and visualization tools (e.g.,Tableau, QlikView)
