Job Description

Azure DeveloperLooking for Azure Developer (ADF) position with 6 to 9 years at Mumbai / Bangalore locations.Job ResponsibilitiesPosition: Azure Cloud Platform EngineerSkill Set: Azure Event Hub Azure SQL DB Analysis Services Power BI Python Shell Scripting Azure Data Factory ADF and KafkaKey Responsibilities

  • Designing solutions for Supply Chain Business Intelligence systems in cloud with an eye towards simplicity reliability manageability scalability extensibility performance and reusability
  • Providing technical expertise in the areas of architecture design testing and implementation
  • Identify and troubleshoot system issues impacting timely availability of data to business partners within established SLAs
  • Collaborating with business representatives to understand requirements value prioritization and acceptance criteria
  • Mentoring and guiding others who are still developing their skills
  • Applying and championing engineering practices Clean Code Standards and Software Craftsmanship
  • Being actively engaged in building out a dynamic and productive development organization and continuously improving practices and methodology
  • Reach out to upstream downstream team members to resolve data issues and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to do impact analysis and document data lineage Develop tools to automate manual tasks and improve productivity of DevOps team
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly and self directed
  • Ensure timely and accurate escalation of issues to management Perform on call support
  • Requirements 5 years of software development experience in BI applications
  • Strong business acumen and superior written verbal and presentation skills 3 years of expert experience in Power BI
  • Experience in SQL Server Azure SQLDB Hands on experience in Shell Python Scripting Working knowledge of Logical and Physical data modelling
  • Expertise in design development and performance tuning of complex Tabular AAS data models
  • Recent experience in SaaS PaaS and Cloud is preferred Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong experience in triaging production issues identifying the root cause and fixing code history restatement
  • Proficient in software design principles various systems integration patterns and building data pipelines to process large amounts of data
  • Strong background in transforming data into business insights
  • Experience in Agile methodology to accelerate decisions and deliver capabilities
  • Experience of practical implementations of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools
  • Knowledge of logging and data alerting
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences
  • Self motivated team player who excels in a collaborative environment
  • Experience in Retail Domain is preferred
  • Experience Knowledge of Azure Event Hub Kafka REST concepts near real time processing is a big plus
