Job Description

As a Business Analyst within the Reporting team, you will serve as one of the data and reporting contacts for the Quality Assurance team and CCB Operations. You will be responsible for assessing the business requirements of the Quality team on behalf of the Reporting team on maintenance changes and other reporting projects. You will design, program and execute the projects for the quality data solutions utilized by the Controls Management Organizations and CCB Operations. Your daily activities includes but not limit to maintaining reporting tools and add-ins, generating reports and presentations, modifying and developing new tools and reports to support the need of the business. The role will allow you to grow and support application add-ins and management reporting. Types of reporting may include: quality review, reconciliation reporting, process improvement, and regular business MIS. This position provides the opportunity to grow in your working knowledge of VBA, SQL and SAS through various on-the-job training.Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Quality Team, CCB Operations on requests. This includes documenting requirements, and asking the appropriate questions to assess complexity and design possible solution.
  • Evaluate and assess impact: evaluate submitted changes for Quality Reporting team to identify impacts to data, systems, and processes.
  • Assist with slotting, tracking, monitoring, testing, and implementation, of assigned change controls and projects.
  • Engagement and communications with CMO Quality team, CCB Operations, and IT on changes, and impacts.
  • Perform maintenance to existing tools, platforms, databases, and tables.
  • Perform user acceptance testing, data validation as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and process enhancements.
  • Assist Quality team to trouble shoot issues among reports, systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate on Release Management related meetings communicating status of assigned projects.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with users of the Reporting team data among CMO QA, and CCB operations.
  • Liaison with CCB technology organizations and IT leadership as an advocate for CMO QA technology and data warehousing requirements
  • Lead and Manage internal projects within the CMO QA reporting team
  • Create reporting using SQL, and be accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of responsible monthly or weekly reports.
  • Create procedure and training documents as needed
  • Design and build SQL queries, in Business Intelligence Tool ( Tableau )
  • Extract, transform and load large data sets into centralized data utility for reporting using SQL and SAS
  • Running UNIX ksh scripts and ALTERYX or SSRS jobs
Qualifications & Skills:
  • College or Associates degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Operations Research, or similar fields
  • Preferred 3+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • Proven skills in project management methodologies and tools
  • Understanding of relevant Quality, and Call Recording technologies, process, and development life cycle
  • Proven ability to work and think independently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a continuous process improvement mindset
  • Excellent problem solving skills, and strong decision making ability
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills for partnering with various level of organization
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint including creation of standard forms, and workflows
  • Working knowledge of Office Professional Suite includes Project, Visio and Access
