Job Description

  • Expertise Python and hands-on coding experience. Knowledge of SQL and other analytical tools is good to have
  • Expertise in statistical techniques and quantitative finance
  • Knowledge of R (Good to have)
Job Responsibilities:
  • Interface with clients to understand business problems and translate them into analytical problems that can be addressed by data analytics
  • Work on code development of a critical piece (US Tax implementation) for a portfolio recommendation tool along with the client team
  • Will work on code development, debugging and releases for a portfolio recommendation tool
  • Ability to deliver end to end solution with minimal support & guidance
  • Deliver with limited direction, usually within a complex environment, to drive problem solving and rigorous, error-free solution for clients
  • Interact with client stakeholders, gather requirements and manage delivery expectations
Qualification & Experience:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in analytics, statistical & mathematical modelling is required
  • Prior analytical experience in Asset/Investment Management / Portfolio Construction / Quant Finance
  • Knowledge of Python is a must. Further, proficiency in SQL, R is good to have
  • Knowledge of US taxation Is good to have
  • Education: Degree of CFA certification or MBA in Analytical Finance from a good institute is good to have
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
