Job Description

    Business Head is responsible for managing the store operations according to the company principles and guidelines, whilst developing and monitoring business strategies and development plans to achieve or exceed sales, profits, and cost objectives. You will provide hands-on leadership to the retail teams and will work closely with Store Managers to ensure the effective management and execution of all aspects of retail including clienteling, service excellence, sales management, staff management & development and inventory & cost management.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES1) Team management2) Tearn behaviour as per brand language3) Maintaining business target4) Tracking brand expenses5) Fixing monthly targets vs achievement6) Incentive distribution as per brand standards7) Maintaining monthly sales report8) Keeping a check on stock reports I quarterly audits9) Keeping a check on store level expenses10)Keeping a check on vendor payments / coordinating with operations manager for PO I vendor ledger / managing payments to vendorsll)Keeping a check on credits to different vendors so all payments are on time and payment transfers are aligned equally through the month12)Keeping a check on credits given13)Keeping a check on discounts given to customer14)Responsible for product pricing / fixing MRP15)Look for new vendors for product developments I brand packaging developments16) Playlists to be maintained as per brand / in accordance with the launch or concept of the month17)Keep a check on customer service / and work every day to make it better18)Push the store manager to approach project opportunities I explore big ticket projects19) Coordinate with marketing, for concepts for betterment of client relations and to drive more business opportunities20)Contribute to marketing concepts to drive footfall at store.21)Always encourage and push the front end team for better sales and maintain vibes amongst the team so they perform better22)Should do quarterly reviews23) Do mystery product checks I to keep check on quality of products24)Hold mystery audits in all departments / to make sure there are no gaps.25)Keep a check on slow moving items, suggest to marketing what can be done to generate sales.26)Keep a check on customer leads and footfall / getting generated more through which platform / share the information with marketing team.27)Keep a check on hiring / on floor team time management / if new hiring is required or front end is overstaffed (responsible for hiring on business level)28)Work closely with marketing team, to generate business from all brand platforms and not just the store29)Work closely with operations, to further develop the ERP system30)Always keep a check on processes followed by front end team and keep a close check on ERP development31)Customer data updating and acquiring new contacts I keeping a check that front end team is feeding customer info in the ERP for marketing use32)Keep a close check on market and competitions to understand, how to give better customer service and excel in the same33)Always make sure brand ethos is followed by the store teams34)Making sure store manager responsibilities are correctly aligned to generate higher sales and meet targets.35)Responsible for aligning team dinners / team recreational meets / incoordination with marketing.Requirements:Proven working experience of maximum 4-6 years as a Business Head or a relevant role for luxury brands only.MBA degree or PG into Business administration/ diploma in retail management.Excellent Communication skillsCreative backgroundTime management and planning skillsProficiency in MS office especially Excel.Proficiency in EnglishMarket knowledgeAbility to build rapportExperience in customer support would be added advantageNo gender preferenceLocation- TPC Home, Kala Ghoda, Colaba-Mumbai
