Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesignation - Chief Dealer - TreasuryLocation - MumbaiMajor Responsibilities Chief Dealer - Treasury

  2. Responsible for managing CRR & SLR requirements of the Bank as per regulatory guidelines of RBI and Banking Regulation Act
  3. Reducing cost of funds by grabbing arbitrage opportunities in the money market operations
  4. Dealing in primary, spot funds etc.
  5. Responsible for developing & maintaining strategic information (MIS) to the Top-Level Committee for driving Investment decisions
  6. Rendering guidance to team regarding bond and call money dealers for optimizing the yields
  7. Performing money management and dealer functions
  8. Responsible for Liquidity, SLR and Non-SLR portfolio
  9. Administering treasury functions including optimum utilization of surplus funds controlling the management of funds & securities to ensure pay-in / out of funds in time without failure
  10. Checking the surplus funds availability & deployment as per Investment Policy of the company in the Fixed Income Market, Bank Deposits, Mutual Funds
  11. Developing treasury updates covering various market updates and checked various economic indicators like Interest Rates, Inflation & System Liquidity on a daily basis
  12. Managing placements and settlements with banks
  13. Managing and monitoring the bank s day to day liquidity
  14. Liaising with other banks for money market limits etc.
  15. Keeping management informed of any changes in the treasury portfolio or changes in legislation that may affect the bank s operations
  16. Hands-on control, monitoring and placement of cash resources
  17. Maximizing returns on cash investment
  18. Manage Treasury Front Office as the bank s main dealer
  19. Manage treasury Mid/Back Office
