Job Description As CFO, you will play a dual role at the company of ensuring fiscal management of current resources and organising the financial resources needed for future growth. Drishti is an aggressive company with diversified interests. We seek novel opportunities and niche areas of operations, an ability to adapt to and fuel such a mindset is a key factor that we hope to see in you. To ensure a smooth functioning of our existing operations, you will be the person responsible for creation and monitoring of budgets and oversight of the regular accounting of the company. Cash flow management and risk management of the company s liabilities vs assets is another critical function. As you will be reporting directly to the board, effectively reporting the MIS and other relevant information to the board. New projects are a way of life at Drishti. Planning and funding these initiatives will be a key focus area for you. Projects will range from small internal initiatives to creation of new business verticals in a new sector. Funding for the same will require a mix of internal resources and external equity or debt. It will require the creation of all financial projections and justifications needed to justify such investments. The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong ability to manage fiscal discipline while having an aggressive appetite for new ventures. A strong experience in external equity fund raising will be highly beneficial. Key Responsibilities 10 years of relevant experience with current position being CFO, financial controller or relevant roleCross industrys exposure preferred with at least one assignment in the services sector. Working with government departments will be an added advantageIn depth knowledge of accounting laws, taxation, company law and risk management practicesAbility to create processes to plan and monitor budgets of existing businesses and new verticalsSetup and review audits and operations control systems from an accounting and finance perspectiveCash flow allocations and managementExcellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methodsProficient in the use of MS Office and financial management softwareBachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is a mustCA, CFA, MBA or other relevant degrees is a strong advantage,
