Job Description

    Within the CIB Security Services Operations Group, Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) Trade operations Change Team is responsible for managing tactical (digital solutions) and strategic solutions implementation along with managing configuration work on core systems, managing transitions- client and third parties and reportings internal and external of the IMOS Program.The Projects can be a part of long-term strategic change programs, regulatory, market specific or related to small changes/enhancements. The Role The successful candidate will be involved as a key executor of the Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) trade operations change team. The role also includes involvement in configuration work on core systems, managing transitions client and third parties and reportings- internal and external. This will involve bringing a large asset manager or asset owners onto the new system architecture that is being developed. The team will be responsible for all elements of execution and coordination throughout the stack for the IMOS program feeding into key stakeholders (Product, Technology and Operations). Aside from project delivery key contribution is expected in bringing efficiencies and improving productivity. It provides an opportunity to work in large scale transformation program with an exposure to multiple products and business lines. The scope of the role will evolve over time Key responsibilities:
    • Attention to detail, Execution to be best in class, managing all exceptions and handholding to closure
    • Understand front to back the impact to clients, operations custodian and/or third parties, fund accounting and investment accounting
    • Review and improve on productivity benchmarks on ongoing basis. Publishing of weekly KPIs & KRIs
    • Processes research/investigations on appropriate systems to operations
    • Explains product features and benefits
    • Create strong resiliency & backups within the team
    • Assist in preparing and implementing Business Continuity Plans
    • Regular reviews of procedures assuring new processes are documented
    • Identify business knowledge gaps and ensure everyone has ownership of deliverables
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure in a deadline oriented environment
    • Ability to partner effectively with peers, colleagues and onshore partners
    • Define and plan testing scope of release- configuration, transitions and reportings.
    • Own conducting lessons learned analysis and execution of action plan.
    • Produce status report and management reports.
    • Liaise with key stakeholders and partner with technology, product and operations.
    • Critical success factors, metrics, KRIs, KPIs, business case, benefits and ROI s collation / preparation, consolidation, analysis, tracking and management.
    • Finalize impact assessment of change - upstream and downstream, impact and plan.
    • Work with stakeholders and define test strategy for large programs.
    Skills Essential:
    • Strong background in any or multiple business areas such as Securities, Cash and FX transaction processing Equity, Fixed Income operations, derivatives (Listed/OTC) and Middle Office (Matching/Confirmation & Settlements) experience would be of benefit but not essential.
    • Project management and lifecycle experience.
    • Clear, effective communication skills.
    • User Acceptance Testing experience and/or Test management experience
    • Additional skill sets on Digital tools Alteryx, Xceptor, Artificial Intelligence would be an added advantage
