Job Description

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analysis, development and testing that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:Responsible for understanding and writing requirements, functional specifications, wireframes / mock-ups / prototype / traceability matrix and business processes related to proposed product solutions.Be the point of contact for the development teams and ensure that all clarifications pertaining to the requirements and any concerns are responded to proactively and quickly for solutions you support.Create Jira stories and backlog for the development process cyclesProactively identify issues and risks to facilitate timely delivery from the development teamAssist and participate in the testing activities of the features being developed.Prepare SQL queries to analyze/debug the issuesDesired Candidate Profile:5+ years of experience as a Business AnalystDetail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.Has previous experience of Banking domain especially Corporate Banking, Internet Banking and Retail BankingWorking knowledge of a banks core back-end payment processing systemsExcellent analysis / communication / documentation / listening / presentation skillsA working knowledge of basic programming and database technologies is desired to aid in the communications with development teams, but this is not a programming or technical position.Ability to learn quickly and think creativelyExperienced in Agile Development ProcessesStrong written and verbal communication skills with a precise talent for articulating customer challenges and requirements.The ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plansOur Corporate & Investment Bank relies on innovators like you to build and maintain the technology that helps us safely service the world s important corporations, governments and institutions.
