This role is in the Digital and Platform Services (DPS) organization in Mumbai - India and part of Research Operations.The Digital & Platform Services Operations teams support the Corporate & Investment Bank and its partners and functions including Technology, Data Science, Client Service, Product and Platform as well as other businesses and stakeholders across the firm. Markets Operations supports all asset classes including equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities. Services provided encompass trade support, pre-execution support for electronic trade systems and vendor platforms, client servicing, regulatory reporting and controls, as well as asset servicing, clearing, settlement and collateral management, vaulting and movement of physical commodities and billing support for clients and partners in over 100 global markets. Our external clients include Asset Managers, Pension and Life Funds, Government Funds, Hedge Funds, Broker Dealers, Global Custodians, Agent Banks, Corporations, Retail clients and other Financial Institutions.Digital Client Services is a new team within Markets Operations with the mandate of reimagining the client service model in order to unlock the value of service and improve the client experience. The team operates in a fast-paced and rapid delivery environment. Our business: Research Operations consists of 45 people spread across 5 teams and is the backbone of Research function. Each team manages different aspects of Research Operations, partners with various global teams including Senior Management, Compliance, Legal, Technology etc. and is instrumental in driving Global Projects. The functions of each team vary from provisioning research access for clients; MiFID II Research Unbundling support, maintaining client data integrity; MIS Reporting and analytics support for various performance metrics and research business management; maintaining disclosures for research reports and analyst permissions for publishing research; production support, and maintenance of our financial database.Skills set /Qualification

Job Description (Roles & Responsibilities)
  • Build a complete understanding of onboarding, offbarding and maintenance of contacts for various products CIB Research, DataQuery, etc.,
  • Evolve & adapt to changing policies/procedure especially on MIFID II Regulation impacting research business and process relating to client agreement, entitlements setup and operational checks
  • Handling internal/external client queries/trouble shooting & request for access to products catered by the team
  • Be able to strategize & improvise the overall existing client base data quality
  • Active participant of ongoing business projects right from the thought process to execution and delivering results
  • Focus driven on transformation & optimization agenda and be able to run multiple such projects parallel
  • Liaise & Build rapport with business leads across multiple touchpoints and with various stakeholders in reporting, client services, billing & invoicing and client reference data.
  • Perform various reconciliation of different process in MIFID and be able to pro-actively think of loop-holes in the process
  • Work with other partners including business management, finance, technology and middle office to Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop an environment of continuous focus on quantifiable productivity and quality
  • Overall supervision of all Administrators, Statutory and Regulatory reports production and the control environment.
  • Managing time effectively, and prioritizing work efficiently considering multiple projects may be on hand at any given point of time
